Recurve Archery is my thing! I truly love to compete. Not everyone does; some people just like to shoot on their own. I enjoy shooting in FITA, NCFAA and NFAA Target Archery Tournaments.

My Archery Coach: I take lessons three times a week from John Kristoff of Lifetime Archery in Raleigh, NC. Coach John has been my coach for three years. He's an NAA Regional High Performance Coach who teaches the B.E.S.T. method of archery. He's a great coach!
Carolina Outdoor Sportsman: Their indoor archery range is where I take lessons, practice and shoot in local NCFAA indoor tournaments. Outdoor NCFAA events are held at Durham Co Wildlife Club in RTP.
USA Archery: This is the US national governing body for archery in the Olympic Games. I belong to this organization and have shot in some nearby FITA indoor and outdoor tournaments recently, along with the Outdoor Nationals in 2009. I've "aged-up" to the Cub class this year after being a Bowman last year. I also belong to a Junior Olympic Archery Development club, the Carolina Bullseyes of Raleigh, which Coach John formed in the summer of 2008.
National Field Archery Association: This archery association hosts many different types of tournaments; I've been competing in their local indoor tournaments for the past 3 years. I've also competed twice in the NFAA Indoor Nationals in Louisville, KY. There were roughly 1300-1400 archers in attendance, each competing in a specific archery classification based on their bow-type and age.
